HengDrive recently obtained the ISO 26262 functional safety certificate for road vehicles, marking that the company’s safety development system in automotive electronics has met international standards. ISO 26262 is a key threshold for electronic component suppliers to enter the global high-end automotive supply chain. This certification is an authoritative validation of HengDrive’s R&D process maturity and risk management capabilities. Building on its IATF 16949 quality system, Hengdrive’s automotive business now covers electrification scenarios such as intelligent cockpits, thermal management, chassis control, and advanced driver assistance, and has established cooperation with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers including Li Auto, XPeng, BYD, SAIC, Bosch, and Valeo. HengDrive stated that it will take functional safety as a cornerstone, continue to increase investment in automotive-grade electric drive, and further expand its share of the automotive segment in the global supply chain.
