Regarding to power consumption of the whole society , there are about 70% spent in the industry, while and the electricity consumption in industrial motors occupy 70% of the entire industrial. Therefore , we can do some action of energy saving of industrial motors to reduce energy consumption of the whole society. Calculate according to 30% of the energy-saving effect, if do energy saving for all industrial motors, the annual electricity consumption of the whole society will be decreased by 15 %, it can gain the great economic and social benefits. There is great potential for motors energy-saving. Improving motor efficiency will be the main way for Industrial energy-saving.
　　

There are two ways to improve the motor efficiency, the one is through the inverter to improve the operating efficiency of the motors ; the other one to use the high efficient motors. At present, relying on the converter is the main way, the energy efficiency of the converter is generally above 30% , in some sectors even reach 40 % -50%. Currently the proportion of high-efficiency motors is still low in the market applications, but under the minimum energy efficiency standards and subsidies policy support , the future application of the high efficiency motors will rise sharply .
